Mutebuka & Co Immigration Lawyers is led by Brighton Mutebuka
Who qualified as a Lawyer and Notary Public in Zimbabwe in 2002. He has practised in all areas of Zimbabwean law following his graduation from the University of Zimbabwe, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree, LLBS (Hons). He completed his attachment at Sawyer & Mkushi Legal Practitioners before working for Chibune & Associates. He holds a Master’s in International Law [LLM] from the University of Leeds and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Law & Practice from De Montfort University.
Here in the UK, he has worked for the Refugee and Migrant Justice (formerly the Refugee Legal Centre)
Hallidayreeves Solicitors, Immigration Advisory Service, the then largest provider of immigration advice and representation in the UK and Ison Harrison/Harrison Bundey Solicitors, one of the leading law firms in the Yorkshire region. Brighton is registered to practise immigration law under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (Level 2) and is registered as a Supervisor with the organisation. Brighton is also registered by the OISC at Level 3 and as a Solicitor by the Solicitors’ Regulating Authority (SRA).

Under the auspices of the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (Level 3) for nearly ten years, passing regulatory audits with flying colours. It prides itself on being able to provide advice and take instructions in Shona and English, achieving phenomenal results for its clients in applications to the Home Office and appeals against Home Office decisions. It covers all heads under Immigration Law and has extensive experience in meeting the needs of both corporate and individual clients.
